SSOLL
The SSOLL Letters are a symbolic alphabet developed as an invitation to perceive language differently. Rather than replacing written communication, they create a parallel system—one that asks us to slow down and notice the shapes, rhythms, and relationships that give meaning to symbols.
Every alphabet is an agreement. Every letter is an abstraction. These forms simply make that visible again.
Drawn by hand and arranged as a complete set of characters, the SSOLL Letters can be utilized, learned, and shared, existing somewhere between typography, drawing, ritual object, and code. They invite a shift from reading for information toward reading as an act of attention.
Like many of my works, the project asks a simple question: What becomes possible when we change our relationship to the systems we use every day?
